I've been looking at the great selection of instructional dvds at Smart Flix. They have a bunch of how to custom painting dvds, but are not limited to just auto stuff. I've rented fiberglass, and welding stuff. Also they were prompt and the quality has been good. Here's a link for the paint stuff, check it out...Painting.

There are two "SmartFlix universities" that are prob of interest to you:
1) Custom Auto University2) Airbrush University.
These programs work sort of like a cross between Netflix and the old Time-Life books - you get a sequence of DVDs on the topic of your choice, 3 per month, return them, and get more.
I'm subscribed to two of the universities - woodturning and woodcarving.
I recommend giving it a shot!
